Our School…
SmallGiant Music is a child-focused music school. We offer a range of services such as group music lessons, individual music sessions and instrumental rentals. Our sessions include Piano, Guitar and ukulele music lessons for all ages.
Music appeals to people of all ages, especially the young. With specific capabilities of each age group, we are committed to provide music education that improves the quality of life for the child in the long run. We achieve musical excellence by nurturing our student’s musical intuition through quality instrumental lessons. Keeping music sessions enjoyable, we challenge and guide our students as they express their ideas and emotions through the world of sound and music. We are committed to help every child progress in their own unique ways!

Shane
Principal and Lead Educator
Piano and Guitar
Experienced music educator who balances a comfortable and professional relationship with his students, parents and colleagues.
Winner of music scholarships and prizes from University of Western Australia, he extends his excellence and knowledge to formulating new and creative ideas to improve the quality of music education provided by SmallGiantMusic.
Fluent in English and Mandarin, he hopes bring music education across a diversity of cultures.
Lynette
Piano
Lynette has aspired to be a music teacher since she was a child.
Having found her place in SmallGiant Music, she is our senior educator for young children as early as 2 years old.
With an Early Childhood Kodaly Certification, Lynette utilises singing in the lessons for our young ones. She believes improvement comes in small steps, and is motivated by students showing even the slightest of improvement. Whenever she has time to spare, Lynette plays badminton, swims and eats chocolates.
Hilary
Guitar and Digital Marketing
Hilary has been playing the guitar for 13 years, serving in church regularly.
She aims to build the very passion she has for the guitar in her students. She loves seeing the joy on their faces when they are able to master their favourite songs.
Something not many might know is that Hilary majored in Geography in university, and she also doubles up as SGM’s lead digital marketer since September 2021!
Grace
Piano and Guzheng
Pursuing her Bachelor in Professional Studies in Music at Berklee College, Grace has over 10 years of experience teaching music to children, youths and adults. Her Music Lessons are engaging and interactive!
She has the passion to inspire the next generation to love music as a whole, including chinese cultural music.
At SmallGiant Music, Grace loves to share her love for music in a fun and exciting approach, yet not losing sight of the discipline and focus required to master an instrument. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and taste the best hotpot there is in Singapore!
Cervone
Piano, Guitars and Ukulele
Cervone plays a wide range of instruments, including the piano, ukulele, clarinet and cello.
More than traditional music, Cervone is also well-versed with the use of music technology. She produces her own songs through creative improvisation and composition.
Integrating music technology into her teaching, Cervone inspires creativity and engage student interest through her tech whiz! Cervone loves working with all ages, especially the young as they bring positive energy to the SGM team.
Sometimes, you can find her hiding in a corner with a cup of hot chocolate.

Driven by Creativity – Creative Teaching and Learning is at the heart of SmallGiant Music. As every child has different learning needs, our team at SGM tailors every lesson to each child, ensuring that they make progress and build on their strengths. Through our Creative Teaching and Learning, students will experience the joy that music brings while making progress on their chosen instrument.
